Loading the export file for analysis
Previous  Top  Next

As mentioned in the previous section, the XML tooltip data file is created by the TipLink Reporter Utility template.

After it is created the TipLink.exe program will be automatically started. It will load the file generated by the utility template and do an import and analysis of the file.

After the analysis is complete, there will be five TPS files in the directory where the program was ran:

Note: Do not move or delete these files (or the TipLink.INI file) as they contain information specific to the analysis in that development folder.

The export file will be the name of the application and a .TUF extension.
Example: Myprogram.TUF (TUF stands for TipLink Utility File)

You can also reload the file at any time in the TipLink Reporter program by using the LOAD button.

Note: This file must be reloaded whenever you want to examine the data. This is by design to make sure that you are always looking at the most recent copy of the export file. You can rerun the export at any time (the file will be replaced).
